The bus lane on Iririou Street in Joinville is undergoing asphalt requalification. Restoration work is being carried out in the area between Dona Francis and Piratuba streets.
Work began on Wednesday evening (29). Crews performed milling, which is the removal of damaged pavement for subsequent laying of a new layer of asphalt.
From this Thursday (30th), work will also be carried out during the daytime, from 9:00 to 16:00, and may be interrupted at certain times if situations such as heavy congestion arise.
This phase of work is expected to be completed on Sunday (3). To carry out the service, it will be necessary to partially close the bus lane and part of one of the lanes along which cars will travel.
The total investment in this work is about 3 million reais. Due to heavy vehicle traffic on Iririu Street, the work will be under the special supervision of the Traffic Department.
Alternative routes
- Drivers who need to travel to the Central Region should use alternative routes.
- Anyone already on Iririu Street can enter Indaial Street and then Itapiranga to Don Francis, where traffic continues as normal.
