Military police were called after a body was discovered this Thursday morning on the shores of Zimbros beach in Bombinhas, the northern coast of SA (23). The man, who appeared to be about 60 years old, suffered a facial injury.
According to the Prime Minister, the body was found near Rio Mando street, in the sand of Zimbros beach. The man was short, wearing a red T-shirt and dark shorts.
None of the fishermen present at the scene identified the victim, who also did not have any identification documents with him. The Civil Police and the General Institute of Expertise were called.
Body found on beach could be that of missing Tijucas man
The body was handed over to the civil police for subsequent collection by the IGP and a police report was registered. Subsequently, the police were informed that a man with similar characteristics had gone missing in the municipality of Tijucas.
Police classified the death as “probably accidental.” The IGP must confirm the identity of the victim to find out if he is indeed the missing person in Tijucas.
