Operation Cartage, launched by the PF (Federal Police) and PRF (Federal Traffic Police) on Tuesday morning (21), resulted in a million dollar loss for a drug trafficking gang. According to PF, the operation resulted in the confiscation of luxury cars and assets of criminals amounting to almost 30 million reais.
As a result of the operation, two luxury cars were confiscated from the defendants in the case. “Snappers” are models with high market value and advanced technologies.
One of the seized luxury cars is a Porsche/718 Boxster with a 300 hp engine. This car is advertised on the manufacturer’s website with a low price of R$550,000.
This car is capable of reaching speeds from 0 to 100 km/h in just 4.9 seconds. In addition to many standard elements equipped from the factory.
Another luxury car seized during Tuesday morning’s operation was a Volvo/S60 T8 R-Design. This car is advertised on the manufacturer’s website for R$199,950.
If you add up the value of the cars confiscated during Operation Cartage, you get about 750,000 reais. This cost is equivalent to 568 minimum wages (1320 reais).

Understand the operation
A total of 28 search and arrest warrants and 29 arrest warrants were executed in the states of Rio Grande do Norte, Mato Grosso do Sul, Santa Catarina and Rio Grande do Sul.
In Santa Catarina, operations were concentrated in the cities of Palos, San José and Imbituba, located in the Greater Florianópolis region. In addition to these municipalities, warrants were served in Chanchera, in the west of Santa Catarina.
In addition to the arrests, searches and confiscations, the court ordered 15 other precautionary measures, which include electronic monitoring of persons under investigation, the seizure of 21 properties and 39 vehicles, and the blocking of bank accounts of 51 individuals and legal entities.
During the operation, the suspects’ assets amounting to approximately 30 million reais were confiscated.

According to PF, Operation Cartage, whose investigation began in 2021, established that the drug entered Brazilian soil through the border between the cities of Pedro Juan Caballero in Paraguay and Ponta Poran in Mato Grosso do Sul.
