The hole, located on Rua José António Pereira street in the Real Park area of São José, has caused discomfort to residents and has become an obstacle to local traffic. Recently, the problem has become more obvious precisely because of the large amount of rain, so residents, tired of the situation, decided to try to solve the problem themselves.
In an attempt to alleviate the situation, some residents filled the hole with tiles, hoping to prevent damage to vehicles driving through the area. However, the incident captured on video showed that the improvised solution was ineffective.
The images clearly show the tiles being thrown in the middle of the street after a car drove through a hole. This situation raises concerns about road safety in the region and highlights the need for adequate intervention by the competent authorities.
According to the city administration of San Jose, due to the rain, teams from the Infrastructure Secretariat are working in various parts of the city. The work is ongoing and will be intensified as soon as the rains subside.
Residents are now awaiting effective action to correct the problem, ensuring the safety of pedestrians and drivers traveling along José António Pereira Street.
