Some fifty hours after a fire started at a fuel distributor in Chapeco, western Santa Catarina, firefighters say the situation is under control but there are still many flames at the site.
According to Sergeant Duan Pedroso of the Chapeco Fire Department, the fire consumes large amounts of fuel that crews cannot combat directly. Firefighters’ work is focused on cooling other tanks to prevent the fire from spreading.
Sergeant Duan sent the video to no date+ I show what the structure of the distributor looked like after the fire and explain the actions of the firefighters. Watch the video below:
