A 22-year-old man and woman suspected of murdering and hiding the body of a newborn baby will remain in prison. The couple’s arrest was converted to preventive custody at a custody hearing on Monday afternoon (13). The decision was made by the Cazador County Criminal Court.

The two allegedly killed and buried a child under the floorboards of the house they lived in in Cazador. They confessed to the police that they had committed the crime. The victim was the woman’s daughter. During the meeting, law enforcement officers confirmed that the detention occurred legally. The process is carried out secretly.

According to delegate Marcelo Colazo of the DPCAMI (Department for the Protection of Children, Adolescents, Women and the Elderly), the child was killed shortly after birth. The mother allegedly strangled her child on the way home from the hospital, all with the consent of her husband.

Arriving home, the mother went to take a shower, and the husband found a place to hide the child’s body. The location chosen was under the kitchen floor. The man removed the refrigerator, dismantled the floors and made a hole, and then rearranged everything.
