On the eleventh day of demonstrations in front of the PSOE headquarters in Ferraz Santiago Abascal took part again, joining anti-amnesty rallies for the fourth time, including this Monday evening, with a curious guest.

On this occasion, the Vox leader appeared accompanied by Tucker Carlson, a former Fox journalist who was fired in April of this year. His dismissal came after the US network faced a $700 million lawsuit after Carlson spread allegations of election fraud made by Donald Trump.

Tucker Carlson was the former US president’s “chief journalist” who was later indicted for trying to overturn the 2020 election results, with Carlson being his main media ally.

Carlson himself shared a photo with Santiago Abascal outside the Socialist headquarters, taking part in a new night of protests against the amnesty and the PSOE agreements with Junts and PNV.

The American presenter addressed the media, saying his presence in Madrid was because “the world doesn’t see him enough and that’s why we wanted to come, because he doesn’t get the coverage he deserves.”

Carlson criticized the government of Pedro Sánchez, saying that “anyone who violates the Constitution or potentially uses physical violence to end democracy is a tyrant, is a dictator.” This is political activism, not journalism.
