In 2016, the TV presenter’s brother-in-law, Alexander’s brother, killed a man after he attacked Ana Hickmann in a hotel.

The incident occurred on May 21, 2016, when the presenter and two others were attacked by an armed man in a hotel room in Belo Horizonte, Minas Gerais state.

30-year-old Rodrigo Augusto de Padua invaded the hotel, taking the host, his son-in-law and daughter-in-law hostage.
