A new pedestrian bridge will be built on the BR-101 in Capivari de Baixo, in the south of Santa Catarina. Work has already begun. Excavation, earthworks and installation of foundation piles are currently underway.
According to CCR ViaCosteira, the concessionaire responsible for the work, in the area where the runway intersects, the walkways will have protective screens to prevent debris from being thrown onto the runway.
Sidewalks and sidewalks leading to the ramp must comply with requirements to ensure accessibility. Drainage systems will also be installed at all entry and exit ramps.
In addition, bus stops will be installed at all pedestrian crossings, subject to a minimum distance of 3.5 kilometers between them.
CCR ViaCosteira is also responsible for the installation and maintenance of the lighting of these structures, as well as the cameras that monitor the sites through the Operations Control Center.

According to the concessionaire, this is the concessionaire’s third new walkway, one of which was built in Laguna at km 298 and the other in Tubarau at km 342.
In addition, another pedestrian bridge at Imbituba at km 277 is expected to be delivered in 2023. In total, by the 9th year of the concession, 18 new devices will be built along the entire route, providing greater safety and comfort for users.
