In honor of the 98th anniversary of the political-administrative emancipation of the city of Crisium in the south of the state, four major works of art will be delivered to residents this Saturday (4).
The event will begin at 9am with the opening of the asphalt surface on Rua António Pavão in the Mina do Toco area. The length of the section is 1.6 km, and approximately R$ 3.5 million was invested in the work.
At 11 a.m., the opening of the sports gymnasium will take place at the school named after P. Ludovico Coccolo in the community of San Luis. The building, with an area of 700 m², has a multifunctional sports ground with stands, bathrooms and a storage room for physical education equipment. The total investment is R$1.5 million.
The official inauguration of Mirante Realdo Santos Gugliemi will take place at 17:30. The structure was built on Ceschinel Hill, next to the Albert Einstein Municipal Astronomical Park E=mc².
The observation deck is built on an area of 657.42 m² and provides a 360° view of the city, mountains and sea. In addition, the structure has three levels, and the highest point is 30 meters high.
The inauguration series ends at 7:20 p.m. with the revitalization of Congress Square in the center. The work includes a pet area, full fencing, and the investment is estimated at R$2.4 million. During the event, City Hall will also honor 15 residents aged 95 and older.
Delivery of space equipment
A nine-meter rocket, a three-meter rocket and a four-meter space probe will be delivered to the Astronomical Park. The event will take place at 4:30 p.m. following a special screening in the park’s Digital Planetarium.
