An 18-year-old motorcyclist was shot dead after he tried to hit a police officer on Friday afternoon (27). The incident occurred during a check by the PMRv (Military Traffic Police) of Ararangua, in the south of Santa Catarina.
According to PMRv, police tried to approach two motorcycles, which fled. The siege was carried out, and near the intersection at the entrance to Ararangua, according to the police, the fugitives tried to run over a policeman, who fired to avoid a collision.
One of the motorcyclists managed to escape, but the other, who was shot in the arm, managed to drive the car for about 200 meters before falling.
The garrison provided first aid and called Samu (mobile emergency service) and the fire department. The young man was taken to the Ararangua Regional Hospital.
