Arteris Litoral Sul was obliged to deliver the road outline by July 2024. ANTT (National Land Transport Agency) has set a deadline and has not received any signs from the concessionaire to date.
The information was confirmed by the agency itself this Wednesday (25) in connection with a message from ND Group. Although an audit was carried out last week and found another delay, the regulator has not received any response from the company.
Palosa Mayor Eduardo Freccia (Podemos) admitted in an interview given to the group’s report that he does not believe Arteris will meet the deadline.
Last week, ANTT, through its director general, admitted that it did not have a date from Arteris, and therefore decided to set a maximum period.
“I will still meet with Arteris to make sure that this deadline is feasible,” Vitale explained in an interview last week.
Six days have passed, and the company, as confirmed by the agency, has not yet given an answer about the deadlines.
Weekly account
Another promise ANTT made last week was that work reviews would be conducted weekly rather than monthly, as has been the case. The initiative, according to Rafael Vitale, is so that the agency can help promote the work with a percentage of 1% per week.
Since the work is 85% complete, delivery at 1% per week will result in completion of the work by February 2024, the date specified in the contract.
