A 38-year-old woman was rescued by the military fire department from a fire that broke out in the house where she lived. The fire was recorded on Tuesday evening (10) in Videira, in the mid-west of Santa Catarina.
According to firefighters, two houses caught fire, both two-story, mixed construction. When rescuers arrived, the fire was in full force.
While extinguishing the fire, eyewitnesses reported that a resident of one of the houses had her body partially burned. The victim was assisted by the garrison, and Samu took responsibility for this.
About 8 thousand liters of water were used to extinguish the fire and its consequences. After the consequences were cleared and isolated for inspection, the scene was under civilian police protection.
The woman’s health status had not been updated until 10am on Wednesday (11). The cause of the fire has also not been released and is subject to investigation.
