Two young men, aged 23 and 24, were temporarily arrested on Tuesday morning (10 years) on suspicion of committing a violent robbery of residents of a house in the prestigious area of Blumenau, in Vale do Itajaí. According to civilian police, the incident occurred on August 25 and was accompanied by torture and even death threats.
The suspects involved in the crime were identified by officers from the Blumenau Anti-Theft and Robbery Police Department (DRFR).
Civilian police investigators were able to identify, locate and arrest two suspects after extensive work analyzing CCTV footage and witness statements. Some of the seized products were also seized.
According to the civilian police, the incident occurred on August 25, when the duo broke into a house on Rua Tome Braga, Jardim Blumenau district, and arrested the occupants of the house.

The investigation revealed that the suspects live in the city of Montes Claros (Minnesota) and came to Santa Catarina only to commit a crime. After this, the duo, who still had a driver, returned to their hometown.
After the judicial authorities issued arrest warrants, on Tuesday morning (10) those involved in this case were found at a motel in the city of Joinville.
Both would return to Santa Catarina about a month later in Minas Gerais to commit another robbery, which remains to be investigated. In the motel room they were in, police found the weapon used in Blumenau’s crime and several stolen items.
The driver of the couple arrested on Tuesday (10) has also been identified and an arrest warrant has been issued against him. However, a person under investigation was killed last Friday (06) in the Vila Nova area of Joinville.
Given the situation, the civil police of Blumenau sent two prisoners to the police station for trial. Once transferred to the prison system, they remain incarcerated and remain in the custody of the Department of Justice.
