The Civil Police of Santa Catarina carried out seven search and arrest warrants and arrested two people this Friday morning (29) in Greater Florianópolis. According to the garrison, the operation aims to dismantle the legal structure that helps organized crime in the capital.

According to the PC, the lawyers under investigation work on “TUNING” – hence the name of the operation – for the faction, transmitting information from above to other members of the criminal organization.

During searches in one of the houses, 66 kilograms of marijuana were seized, as well as scales, drug packaging material and a vehicle used to transport drugs. The couple who were present at the location were also caught red-handed.

According to delegate António Claudio Seixas Joca of DRACO/DEIC, several documents, mobile phones, notes, scales and materials related to the investigation were seized from other addresses.

The locations include the offices and homes of two lawyers.

The locations where the warrants were served were not disclosed. However, information shows that the offices and homes of two lawyers were among the targets of the attack. The progress is monitored by representatives of the OAB/SC (Commission on the Prerogatives of the Brazilian Bar Association).
