The two women killed in an accident between a motorcycle and a truck in Lontras, in Alto Vale do Itajaí, were engaged. The accident occurred on the night of Sunday 24th at 130 km of the BR-470 highway.

According to Lontras volunteer firefighters, the accident occurred around 11:45 pm in the Margem-Esquerda area, near the entrance to the city.
At the scene, the rescue team confirmed a collision between a VW Amarok and a Honda Biz motorcycle.
While talking to the passengers of the Amaroc, firefighters were told that two vehicles were traveling on the BR-470 highway in the direction of Ibiram – Rio do Sul when the truck crashed into the rear of the motorcycle.
On the motorcycle were Deborah and Ariana, who were already dead when teams arrived on the scene.
The motorcycle they were riding on was thrown almost 40 meters from the collision site.
As a result of the collision, the truck ended up on the left side of the road, and the women were thrown to the side of the road on the right side. Volunteer firefighters reported that they did not find their helmets at the scene.
