Pinheira Beach in the municipality of Palos, known as one of the main tourist destinations in greater Florianopolis during the summer, is undergoing renovation to prepare a more modern and comfortable structure to welcome visitors.
Praia da Pinheira will receive renovation work this summer – Photo: PMP/Divulgação/NDThe first phase of work will be the revitalization of a 646-meter section of Rua Manoel Martins, as well as the restoration of two squares in the central district of Pinheira.
The city council’s project includes a common area with a gazebo, tables and benches, a children’s playground, outdoor exercise equipment, bicycle racks, parking, kiosks with toilets and a terrace with access to the beach.
The facilities are expected to be ready for delivery to the public in early summer.
