This Wednesday, a woman was spotted entering Porto Belo and heading towards Rua dos Samangaia at the corner of Isabel Rodriguez Street. At the scene, three boys, aged 19, 18 and 21, loaded the driver’s silver Ford/Ka with several drug tablets.
Faced with the incident, intelligence called a police car as well as the PRF (Federal Traffic Police) of Itapema. Military police officers then approached the vehicle and also located the driver’s 14-year-old daughter.
A cardboard box containing just over 21 kilograms of marijuana was found in the trunk. They, along with the drugs and the car, were taken to the DPS (Police Duty Center).
Officers then went to the home where the drugs were located and found the suspects responsible for loading up the woman’s car minutes earlier. The prime minister said that one of them admitted to participating in the crime and said that he had more drugs in his house.
During the checks, two large pieces of marijuana weighing about 450 grams were found, as well as precision scales and small portions of the substance, about 70 grams.
In addition, the boy said that they were notified about the woman’s arrest via WhatsApp, so they hid the rest of the drugs in a Fiat/Palio car parked a few meters from the house.
Inside the vehicle, agents found two large boxes of marijuana pills consistent with the drug found in the Ford/Ka. Several other pills and two precision scales were also found inside the vehicle, totaling 110.7 kilograms of marijuana.
All suspects were taken to the police station for crimes related to drug trafficking, involvement in human trafficking and corruption of minors.
