The bus driver and passengers experienced moments of tension this Wednesday afternoon (6) in Jaragua do Sul, northern Santa Catarina. The passenger began to threaten the driver after boarding the vehicle, which caused panic among passengers.
According to the military police, the incident was reported when the bus was passing along Rua Angelo Rubini in Barra do Rio Cerro. A man entered a public transport vehicle and aggressively told the driver that he wanted to pay for the fare using pix, a payment method not permitted by the companies providing the service.
At that moment, the suspect introduced himself as a police officer, said that he was armed, and began to threaten the driver, which caused fear among the victim and other passengers on the bus.
A reserve military police officer at the bus stop managed to intervene and found the man lying down and unarmed.
The police were then called. The suspect signed a detailed statement about the threat of a crime.
ABOUT ND+ Portal I contacted the transport concession companies, but did not receive an answer due to the holiday.
