Water supply will be gradually restored from noon to Tuesday evening (5) in 10 municipalities in the west of Santa Catarina. The announcement was made by Kazan (Companhia Catarinense de Águas e Saneamento).
Interruptions in the operation of installations for the collection, treatment and distribution of water in these settlements occurred due to a power outage caused by bad weather.
Of the affected cities in the region, only Palma Sol has no return forecast yet. The company requires economical use of water until the supply is fully normalized.
Check the water supply situation in the municipalities:
- Dionisio Cerqueira – standardized supply in the city;
- Mesopotamia – deliveries should normalize by 20:00;
- Formosa do Sul – supplies resume gradually until the end of the day;
- Galvao, Jupia and Coronel Martins – gradually resumed until the end of the day;
- Novo Horizonte, São Lourenço do Oeste and San Bernardino – gradually resume until the end of the day;
- Chanshere – will be normalized in all districts of the city by Wednesday (6);
- Palma Sola – there is no forecast for the return of energy to ETA (water treatment plants) yet.
