A 38-year-old man suspected of involvement in a robbery that took place in Blumenau on September 15 last year was arrested this Monday (4th) in Gaspar, in the Itajai valley. According to the Civil Police, during the rally the investigator pretended to be a policeman and was detained using an Israeli-made weapon.
The operation that resulted in the arrest of the suspect was coordinated by the DRFR (Delegation for the Suppression of Theft and Robbery) Blumenau. In September last year, the couple broke into a house on Rua José Lotero de Souza Filho in the Vorstadt district to commit a robbery, according to investigators.

Two men came to the scene armed and took away more than 40 phones, firearms and about 50,000 reais in cash. According to the Civil Police, following an investigation, the police requested the preventive arrest of the suspect, who may have been a member of a criminal organization.
This investigator had previously served a sentence of 16 years in prison and, according to investigators, was a fugitive. He was only found this Monday (4) in a house in the Santa Terezinha area.
While executing the arrest warrant, police found a loaded 9x19mm Israeli-made firearm with three magazines and a total of 82 rounds of ammunition.
The suspect, who was arrested in the Santa Terezinha area of Gaspare, was also detained at the scene of the crime for illegal possession of firearms. The man was then sent to the Blumenau Regional Prison, where he remains at the disposal of justice.
