On Wednesday afternoon (30), a 42-year-old woman was seriously injured in a collision between two motorcycles in Gaspar, in the Itajai Valley.
At around 5:10 p.m., the military fire brigade was called to respond to an incident on the Ivo Silveira highway in the Barracao area. At the scene, the garrisons found the victims – two motorcyclists.
The Honda driver with Brusque plates, a 27-year-old man, suffered bruises on his body, but refused hospitalization.
The woman was seriously injured
According to firefighters, the driver of a Honda Biz motorcycle with Mercosur plates was found unconscious on the road.
She had a severe head injury, severe bleeding and cardiac arrest.
The severe condition of the casualty prompted the fire brigade to seek help from the Samu (Mobile Emergency Service) team while the motorcyclist was moving.
Rescuers stopped the bleeding and began cardiopulmonary resuscitation.
With the arrival of Samu’s team, the teams worked together and stabilized the patient’s condition. Shortly after the procedures, she was taken to the Nossa Señora do Perpetuo Socorro Hospital in Gaspare.
The State Road Military Police was also at the scene and took responsibility for inspecting the scene.
