A man became known online as “BH Samurai” after chasing two thieves who broke into his condominium in Belo Horizonte/MG. The criminals arrived at the scene to steal the bikes.

The Samurai Mineiro is called Alisson D’Jean. The man told the BHAZ website that it all happened early in the morning on Father’s Day on Sunday, August 13. In the video, he appears running with a sword, and soon appears with bicycles in his hands.

“There have been four invasions this month alone. The third happened on Thursday of the same week, three days before what is shown in the video,” recalls Alisson.

Alisson was afraid that the criminals would break into the family’s apartment, do something to his mother or other neighbors, also elderly. Thus, as soon as he heard the noise of another invasion, he took the katana he uses in martial arts classes and decided to act.

“My mother heard them break down the garage door, but she didn’t want to warn me because she knew I would take the initiative. She panicked, tried to talk to the manager, then started screaming,” he recalls.

He went down the elevator next to the liquidator to hold back the bandits. The stolen bikes didn’t even belong to him, but he didn’t think twice before trying to get them back. Alisson said that the thieves had edged weapons, but no one was hurt during the fight.

“That day I was training my legs, very tired, but due to the rush of adrenaline, I was ready for action. I took what I had at that time – a katana, put on sneakers, pants and a shirt, because it was cold, ”he recalls.
