A fugitive man wanted for sexual harassment was arrested by the premier (military police) Wednesday afternoon (16) in Jaragua do Sul, north of Santa Catarina.

Police received information about a suspicious vehicle with a Joinville license plate cruising in the area. During the investigation, the garrison found the car at the back of the gas station, where they continued driving up.

Nothing illegal was found during a search of the vehicle. However, an examination of the documents of the person approached revealed an open arrest warrant issued by the 1st Criminal Court of the Joinville District in a sexual harassment case.

The fugitive was detained on the spot and taken to the Jaragua do Sul regional prison for the necessary procedures.
