Cooperativa Pioneira de Electrificação (Coopera) has resumed the maintenance of street lighting and the installation of new fixtures in Forquilinha. More than a year later, the agreement with the Municipality of Forquillinha has been renewed and is already showing results. The rest of the first week of work amounted to 252 repairs in the city.
Of the dots that lit up again, 33 are in the center, while the rest are in areas and communities in the depths. “Nights gradually turn into day in Forquilinho. This was our promise. Teams are working day and night answering calls from cooperative members and consumers,” said Walmir Rampinelli, president of Coopera.
On July 18, the agreement was signed at the company’s headquarters by Valmir Rampinelli and Forquilhinha’s secretary for administration and finance, Ricardo Jimenez. As he was absent from the event as he was on an official trip, the mayor of Forquillinha, José Claudio Gonçalves, known as Neginho, later signed the document.
What does the agreement provide?
According to the president of Coopera, the signed document stipulates that the supply and purchase of materials for network maintenance, in addition to special lighting, will be entrusted to the mayor’s office.
“In order to do the job at the highest level, you need to get the materials quickly,” Valmir Rampinelli emphasizes during the meeting to sign the agreement.
When reopening, the Co-op provides a close and fast service to a member who is 97% satisfied with the service, according to the latest survey conducted by the Catarinense Research Institute (IPC).
“Another service provided to the city is to maintain the quality that is our trademark, because the cooperative is owned by a member of the cooperative and a taxpayer,” comments Coopera consultant Rogerio Braz Feller.
For Forquilinha City Hall, the change has been made to ensure the safety and well-being of citizens. “By investing in a more reliable and comprehensive street lighting system, we are contributing to a more sustainable and efficient society,” says Ricardo Jiménez, secretary of administration and finance of the municipality.
What will change for the member of the cooperative and the taxpayer?
Since July 18, Coopera members and municipal taxpayers have a Coopera number available to request street lighting maintenance services. Telephone 0800 725 7725 is available 24 hours a day. In addition to calls, the contact also receives text messages via WhatsApp.
Coopera consultant Rogerio Braz Feller, who oversees Coopera, knows that flexibility is a prerequisite for a company. “The interest of the members of the cooperative determines what Coopera does. And it is very important for him to get immediate, fast help and light up the streets of his city, because it is synonymous with safety,” he guarantees.
