A fisherman was rescued from drowning in the sea at Barra Velha in Balneario Rincao, in southern South Carolina, this Sunday morning (23) by two military police officers from Isara in the same region.
The military police were called by radio to rescue the fisherman. Sergeant Junior and Corporal Bittencourt, who arrived on the scene, saw people desperately pointing towards the sea.
The police got out of the car and entered the sea to rescue the victim.
“With the help of a rope provided by the neighboring popular, they managed to get close to the victim. However, the situation was not easy. The current was very strong and carried the victim deeper and deeper into the sea. Corporal Bittencourt assisted the victim, while Sergeant Junior used a rope to tie her up. With great courage and determination, the two policemen swam tirelessly, pulling the victim by the rope to the shore,” the prime minister said.
After the rescue, firefighters arrived at the victim and the police. Everything is fine.
