An IFC (Instituto Federal Catarinense) employee from Sombrio, south of Santa Catarina, was convicted of harassment. The suspect was dismissed from the institution, and the result of the initiated DPA (administrative disciplinary process) was published.
The decision was published on July 3 this year in the DOW (Official Gazette). As for the penalty in the form of dismissal due to accusations against the server, the institution says that he will be able to appeal.
“If it is in the interests of the server to use its legal right to appeal the decision. The internal and external community is free to speak for or against the outcome, but the IFC does not take the case out of the correctional sphere, as this is a process initiated and carried out in accordance with legal procedures,” he said in a message. note.
IFC also stressed that it does not condone any form of harassment, “especially those that target employees and/or students. Therefore, all complaints received against the employees of the institution are transferred to the department of internal affairs, which deals with disciplinary issues of its employees.”
