A man with a valid arrest warrant for rape in Rio Grande do Sul was arrested in Sombrio, south of Santa Catarina, on Monday (17). The arrest was made by the State Civil Police through DEIC (Delegation for Seizures of the State Directorate of Criminal Investigation).
The court ruling was handed down by the 1st Criminal Court of Kashoerinha in a neighboring state in a case of rape of a vulnerable person with a final sentence of 14 years and five months.
According to civilian police, the fugitive lived in Gravatai (RS) and repeatedly committed crimes, even receiving death threats, which led to a change of state.
