Tactical military police officers were making their rounds in Tijukas, in Greater Florianopolis, early Tuesday morning (11) when they stumbled upon a house fire.
The owner of the house, a man about 35 years old, did not notice the fire and was rescued by brigades.
According to the military police, he apparently lost consciousness when the police managed to remove him from the scene. The house was already engulfed in smoke and flames.
Then the firemen were called. The brigades provided assistance, and then took the victim to the Tizhukas hospital.
The resident was asleep in the room at the time of the incident and only noticed the fire when he was rescued by the police, who had to break down the door.
The Prime Minister explains that he is a drug user and other users also use the house to do drugs frequently. It is possible that another user was on the site at the time of the fire.
The victim was unable to explain how the fire started. A fire at a house on Rua do Gouverno in the center of Tijucas was brought under control with the help of the fire department.
