A family was taken hostage during a robbery in Tijukas, Greater Florianopolis, this Monday (3). Two family cars and cell phones were seized. The suspects have not been identified.
According to the Prime Minister (military police), at around 4:30 p.m., two men were supposed to break into the house. The couple and their 11-year-old daughter were surrendered. One of the criminals was armed with a revolver.
A pair of robbers had to contact a third party by phone, asking if “the victim would be the target.” They would still take a picture of the family and then tell them “he won’t be a target.”
The next to arrive was a family friend who also surrendered. The robbers took from the house the tools of the man who works as a mechanic, three cell phones, perfume and two cars: the family’s VW/Spacefox and a friend’s VW/Gol.
