“There was no furniture, and things, including mattresses, lay on the floor. The place was dirty and unhealthy.” The information came from the commander of the Santana do Livramento/RS military brigade, Major Anibal Menezes da Silveira, and describes the net in which a teenager was found missing in Chapeco in the west of Santa Catarina more than 30 days ago.
She was discovered this Monday afternoon (3) in Santana do Livramento, about 700 km from Chapeco, after the arrest of Jean Alberto teenager Mota Mastrascus, aged 35, suspected of seducing.
He was arrested by the Rio Grande do Sul military brigade after using a PIX scam on a supermarket employee in Santana do Livramento in June.
“We already had information through our intelligence agency that he was a fugitive and therefore we were under surveillance. This Monday, he returned to the supermarket, where he was identified and arrested by the police,” the commander specified.
According to the Major, Jean changed her appearance by dyeing her hair black and tried not to give her name. “Because we already knew his story, we applied the interview technique and were able to determine the location where the teenager was.”
The teenager was alone
Police officers drove to the specified address and, with the permission of the owner, gained access to the site. “She opened the door and we confirmed it was the missing teenager. She did not explain what happened and was taken to the hospital for a medical examination. He is outwardly healthy and without injuries, ”the commander added.
The teenager, accompanied by the Board of Trustees, remains at the civilian police station, awaiting a meeting with his family.
The operation was coordinated by DPCAMI (Delegation for the Protection of Children, Adolescents, Women and the Elderly) Chapeco. He had a valid arrest warrant since May 30 last year.
