Firefighters are still putting out a massive blaze that has engulfed a forested area in Garuva, north of Santa Catarina. The flame started this Tuesday (27).
Nine agents with equipment to respond to this type of fire will take turns working with the team, which has been on site since Tuesday, according to the fire department.
The fight is expected to continue for several more days. The Archangel helicopter also continues to operate in this event, providing support in the movement of groups and their equipment.
The Task Force is made up of teams that include representatives from various municipalities in the state. This forest fire makes it difficult for the teams to work, as it is located in a remote place, and it is not possible to arrive at the fire equipment by land.
