The second phase of the operation against theft of goods by the civilian police was launched on Tuesday (6th) by the DEIC (Delegation for theft and theft of goods) with warrants for the confiscation of goods and valuables filed in Itapema, on the north coast of Santa Catarina, and also in Palos and Santo Amaro da Imperatris, in Greater Florianopolis.
Searches and seizures were carried out in the houses of those under investigation, as well as warrants for the seizure of property and valuables. An investigated criminal group is responsible for the fraudulent purchase of a shipment of salmon and a shipment of cheese and subsequent resale using forged invoices to the State of Rio Grande do Sul.
Also, according to the Civil Police, in order to commit crimes, the defendants created a fake website imitating belonging to a large supermarket chain and purchased a large amount of food.

During the first phase of the operation, objects and documents were seized, which were carefully analyzed by the DFRC/DEIC, which allowed the identification of almost all those involved, including the person responsible for maintaining the website and procurement, carrying out the coup, and the leader of the criminal organization.
Those under investigation were charged with committing crimes of embezzlement, the use of ideologically false documents, money laundering and a criminal organization through which the crimes were carried out. The criminal group transferred more than 7 million reais. The event was coordinated by DFRC/DEIC official delegate Osney Valdir de Oliveira.
