The delegate responsible for investigating Jeff Machado’s death, Helen Souto, said the prime suspect, Bruno Rodriguez, had until January 25 to kill the actor. According to the investigator, Bruno was supposed to end the victim before the start of the recording of the alleged soap opera, in which Jeff will participate.

In an interview with Domingo Espetacular, the delegate also said that the artist paid the suspect 18,000 reais in four installments. The last one was paid a few days before the disappearance, on January 12th.

“Jeff believed and he died believing that he would start recording the soap opera on January 26th, so he was killed three days earlier, so Bruno had to carry out his plan to kill Jeff by January 25th,” he said.

According to Helen, if the actor had been alive at the time the alleged recordings began, he would not even have walked through the station gates, as there was no soap opera. “He will charge an amount corresponding to the investment, Jeff will demoralize him, since he introduced himself as an assistant director,” he explained.

Jeff was suspicious

In one of his last conversations with his mother, the actor said he was very upset. “My meeting was to take place on Tuesday the 17th so that I could go there and he [Bruno] did not confirm, did not take the number, nothing “

“I did not kill under any circumstances,” says Bruno.

He also said he hoped “the police would get the job done to find Marcelo,” whom he pointed to as responsible for Jeff’s murder. There is no third person involved in the murder for the investigation.

Suspect arrested

Another suspect, Jinder, was temporarily arrested on Friday (2) for the actor’s death. The arrest took place in the Santissimo area in the western part of Rio de Janeiro.

The defense argued that he did not participate in the murder, only in hiding the corpse.
