The Federal Police have issued a warning to the Portuguese authorities against former television producer Bruno Rodrigues, who is suspected of killing and burying actor Jeff Machado.
Bruno has been on the run since last Friday (2nd) when a Rio de Janeiro judge issued a temporary arrest warrant against him and Jander Vinicius da Silva Braga.
According to the Federal Police, there is no evidence that Rodriguez could have left Brazil. But even in this case, the actor’s family fears such a possibility. Information taken from Record TV.
According to lawyer Jairo Magalhaes, who represents Jeff’s family, they believe that Bruno could have planned the escape to Portugal because he has family in the country.
“I did not kill under any circumstances,” says Bruno.
In an interview with Domingo Espetacular, the suspect denied having killed the Santa Catarina actor. “Do you want to know if I would have planned such a cruel death? My answer is no”. Never, under any circumstances,” Bruno said.
“I have not killed and would not kill another person under any circumstances.”
He also said he hoped “the police would get the job done to find Marcelo,” whom he pointed to as responsible for Jeff’s murder. There is no third person involved in the murder for the investigation.
Suspect arrested
Another suspect, Jinder, was temporarily arrested on Friday (2) for the actor’s death. The arrest took place in the Santissimo area in the western part of Rio de Janeiro.
The defense argued that he did not participate in the murder, only in hiding the corpse.
