A man died in a clash with the Prime Minister (military police) on the night of this Wednesday (31) in the Itinga area in Tijukas, Greater Florianopolis. The police went to the scene after receiving a report of drug trafficking at the scene.
The complaint was that the two men would sell drugs and grow marijuana in the house, and allegedly threaten neighbors.
When the police arrived at the scene and approached the suspects, they fled into the house. One of them was identified by the police, who said that the man already had other passages, was arrested four times for drug trafficking, three times for theft.
The agents entered the house following an identified man who had locked himself in the room, disobeying orders to leave. According to the police report, the agents had to break down the door when they heard a noise in the window, suspecting that he was running away.
The man would then shoot at the cops, who also shot at him. The called Samu (mobile emergency service) found him dead at the scene.
The second suspect, who was not identified by police, fled and was never found.
Upon inspection, the police found 101 grams of cocaine divided into portions, 2,400 reais in cash, an accurate scale, and a 9mm pistol with eight rounds.
Members of the civilian police, the IGP (General Institute of Expertise) and the IML (Legal Medical Institute) were also on the scene.
