A 34-year-old woman was found dead in the Coronel Freitas building in the west of Santa Catarina. The crime was registered by the Prime Minister (military police) around 14:00 on Sunday (21) on the San Cristovan line. The suspect is a former partner of the victim, a 34-year-old man.
The case was reportedly solved after Parana military police in Cleveland approached the vehicle with a theft record. A 34-year-old man was in the car and told police that he had hung and dumped the body of his former partner near a water tank.
The garrison began searching and found the body of the victim wrapped in a blanket with traces of violence. Given the facts, the place was isolated and the Civil Police and the Scientific Police were called. The crime, according to the Prime Minister, began on Saturday (20) in the city of Mondai.
How did it all start?
Coronel Freitas civil police said the woman was at home with her current partner on Saturday evening when two men, aged 34 and 29, broke into the house and abducted the victim. At that time, the two men would also take the couple’s car.
The 34-year-old man turned out to be the woman’s former partner. He was arrested in Cleveland/PR, still in the victim’s car, when he confessed to femicide.
The suspect told police what he did to the woman and where he left her. The man also identified another suspect who was eventually arrested in Mondai/South Carolina.
