An elderly man, 64, was disarmed and killed with his own firearm in Imbituba, south of Santa Catarina. Known as Breno da Silva Caldas, he was a member of the Air Force Reserve. The crime took place on this Saturday (20) and was qualified as robbery, robbery followed by death.
According to the Military Police, the victim rioted at the drug station on the side of the road BR-101, his weapons were stolen. He was then hit by a bullet and died on the spot.
A 28-year-old woman suspected of committing a crime was detained nearby. A 16-year-old boy was also detained. The prime minister said he had a valid search and seizure warrant, as well as suspicions of vandalism, drug dealing and weapons possession.
However, according to the police, the third author is on the run. He is 23 years old and has convictions for resisting, disrespecting, disturbing the peace of others, causing bodily harm and drug dealing. This will be the carrying of firearms confiscated from the military.
The case is being investigated by the Civil Police. The dynamics of the crime and motives have not been identified.
