Three people were arrested red-handed in the Americas area, in Upstate Joinville, on suspicion of involvement in drug trafficking and skilled reception. The civilian police operation took place this Friday morning (19).
Following a serious theft at a shoe store in the city, police from the 3rd DP (Police Station) and DIC (Criminal Investigation Division) of Joinville were able to identify three individuals who were selling stolen pairs of shoes over the Internet.
Having established the address of the suspects, the operatives began the operation and found 41 pairs of stolen shoes in the premises, as well as several portions, two pills, seedlings and a greenhouse for marijuana.
Because of the items found, all three were taken to the police department in Joinville and detained at the scene of the crime. After judicial police procedures, they were sent to the Joinville Regional Jail, where they remain at the disposal of the Justice.
