Chocolate bars and bottles of deodorant have become a police matter in Casadora, in the Midwest of Santa Catarina. A 37-year-old man was arrested by the Prime Minister (military police) on Thursday morning (4) after robbing a store on Avenida Barão do Rio Branco. The attacker resisted arrest and attacked the policeman, who was wounded.
According to the Prime Minister, the garrison was on the rounds when they noticed a suspicious man. When approaching, the military found stolen products from the store. Items included chocolate bars and deodorant bottles.
The man was immobilized and handcuffed by the garrison. He denied guilt, but store employees proved authorship from surveillance footage.

According to police, the prisoner already had an extensive criminal record, with several incident reports documenting theft, damage, bodily harm, contempt, disobedience, corruption of a minor, and illegal possession of firearms.
