The man died on Saturday afternoon (29) after a paragliding accident in Santo Amaro da Imperatriz, in Greater Florianopolis. The incident occurred during a sporting event when two paragliders collided in the air and then hit the victim, who was also flying overhead.
According to the CBMSC (Santa Catarina Military Fire Department), the victim, who was shot down by two paragliders that collided during flight, was unable to activate the security system and collided on the ground in a place with stones. It is suspected that the victim hit his head.
