A 47-year-old man required hospitalization after he overturned the car in which he was traveling on the Antonio Hale Highway in Brusca, in the Itajai Valley. According to firefighters and traffic police, at the time of the accident on the night of Monday (17) it was raining heavily.

It was about 8:50 p.m. when a Ford Fiesta with a sharp license plate overturned in the central gap between traffic lanes on a duplicate section of the highway, at km 16. The accident occurred near the Limoeiro area.

According to rescuers, the driver, who was the only one in the car, was injured in his left arm and complained of pain in the lumbar region. He was sent to Azambuja de Brusque Hospital for medical treatment.
