A Fiat/Uno Fiorino car broke into an animal observation center in Bombinhas, on the north coast of South Carolina, this Friday morning (14). According to the driver, the van may have hydroplaned on the track, causing it to lose control and collide.
The head of the site informed the military police that the structure of the observation center had been damaged as a result of the crash.
The place occupied by the vehicle is the territory where the rescued animals are kept, which were not harmed.
However, the collision damaged the wall, the wall, the roof of the house, the window glass, and the interior of the site.
The driver of the car and two other passengers were taken by the fire department and SAMU to UPA in Bombinhas.
The police arrived at the station and spoke to the driver, who said he was driving down the hill on Avenida Aras, in the Sertaozinho area, and because it was raining, he believes he hydroplaned on the spot. He reportedly slammed on the brakes but was unable to avoid the crash.
The man in the passenger seat reported that he was asleep at the time and woke up to the driver of the car yelling that they were about to crash.
The third victim already says that he was in the cargo hold of the car and that he understood that they had collided, but did not know what was happening.
The military police registered a police report and took photographs of the site. The vehicle was evacuated with a winch as it was a hazard at the scene.
