A 14-year-old teenager was detained after making a lot of noise in the center of the Rodeo, in the Itajai Valley. A young man, who was supposed to be a passenger on a school bus, threw a firecracker into the kindergarten through the window of a moving car during the departure of students this Thursday (13) around 12 noon.

Fortunately, according to the civil police, no one was hit by the explosive device, but the explosion caused a strong fright among the people at the scene, and the military police were called in the direction of the kindergarten. “The minor reported that he wanted to attract attention and therefore threw a rocket,” the Military Police report says.

The teenager’s grandmother in charge was at the scene after the incident and told police she didn’t know her grandson could have such an artifact. After the riot, he was taken to the Azcurra police station to testify.

He was charged in flagrante delicto with assault on public safety, and the delegate submitted his arrest and a motion for temporary hospitalization, given the seriousness of the act. The juvenile delinquent was immediately presented to the Department of Public Administration for a hearing and trial.
