The military police provided support to the Petrolandia Board of Trustees in Alto Vale do Itajaí following an alleged case of abuse in a building that functioned as a kindergarten in the city. This approach was taken after videos were sent to the Municipal Board of Guardians last Tuesday (11) denouncing physical and psychological aggression on the spot.
According to the PM (military police) report, other undue punishments were also applied to the children, according to a welfare adviser who was present at the scene. In the house where the suspect lives, at about 9:30 am this Thursday (12), a PM car was mobilized, but the police did not find the children.
When questioned, the resident said that she worked as a nanny and confirmed that she was taking care of children, but at that time they would not be there. The Board of Trustees advised that, as she did not have the necessary license to operate, she would not be able to continue in her functions.
During the registration of the incident, it was found that the premises were not suitable for the functioning of a kindergarten, since, according to the Prime Minister (military police), it is characterized as small and unreliable. In view of the current situation in the case, a police report was registered, which was sent to the Civil Police for further investigation.
