Three important streets in Joinville, north of Santa Catarina, are to be re-qualified, requiring an investment of 12.7 million reais. This week a service order was signed for work.
The streets of Sao Paulo (between Monsignor Guercino and Simão Kruger), Barra Velha (between Sao Paulo and Santa Catarina) and Guaruja (between Sao Paulo and Barra Velha) will have 3.5 km of paving.
In addition to re-qualifying the asphalt, the work also includes demolition, removal and re-installation of passenger canopies, removal of cobblestones, drainage, concrete paved roads on bus lanes, additional work on sidewalk, cleft palate, traffic signs and landscaping. .
In the case of Rua São Paulo, the sidewalks will be redone. “On Rua São Paulo, the requalification is complete, it’s a wall-to-wall job. This is important because it corresponds to another section of the road that has already been completed,” explains Minister of Urban Infrastructure Jorge Sa.
The company responsible for the execution is Empreiteira de Mão de Obra Adrimar Ltda, which won the tender.
Companhia Águas de Joinville works at the facility
Prior to renovation work on these streets, Companhia Águas de Joinville is changing branches in the region. Work on Rua Barra Velha should be completed this week. On Rua Guarujá, the line change is predicted to start on Thursday (6).
On Wednesday (5th), Companhia Águas de Joinville begins a survey of the supply network in São Paulo Street, in the Floresta area. After the service is completed, branch exchanges will be carried out and a new water supply network will be implemented. The works should not affect the supply, but there will be occasional disruptions in traffic, mostly partial, during the provision of services.
