A serious accident resulted in the deaths of three women on a BR-470 this Saturday (25) in Indaiala, in the Itajai Valley. The frontal collision was recorded at an altitude of 78 km of the highway, at about 8 am, near the border with the city of Rodeo.
According to the PRF (Federal Highway Police), a Kia Sportage with President Getúlio license plates driven by a 52-year-old woman was involved in the accident; VW Fox Route 1.6 with Blumenau license plates, carrying the driver and two dead; and a Toyota Etios with Ascurra license plates, driven by a 27-year-old man.
This Saturday morning (25) traffic on BR-470 was completely blocked for several minutes to help the victims. The exact dynamics of the accident is not reported, but the cars were completely destroyed, and all the people in them were seriously injured.
In addition to the federal traffic police, teams from Samu (Mobile Emergency Service), Union volunteer firefighters (Azcurra, Apiuna and Rodeo), volunteer firefighters from Indaiala and an Arcanjo-03 helicopter from the Blumenau military firefighters were on site. The IML (Medical Institute of Law) and the Science Police were also involved.
In the VW Fox car, in addition to two women who were found lifeless, there was also a driver, a 49-year-old man. He was pulled out of the car and contacted by the Azcurra Volunteer Fire Department, who took him to the Beatriz Ramos de Indayal Hospital in an Arcanho-03 helicopter.
Even after the path was cleared, which happened around 12:00, traffic is slow and there are still reports of queues. Drivers are advised to be careful, patient and careful.
