The 31-year-old truck driver left with minor injuries after being involved in an accident that could have been much worse on the Río do Sul BR-470 section in Alto Vale do Itajaí. When firefighters arrived at the scene, the man was found sitting on the roof of the cabin.
According to the rescue report, the accident happened around 17:30 this Monday (20) in the Pamplona area. The truck driver suffered from back pain and abrasions on his body.
Before tipping over, the trolley hit a high-voltage pole and the truck became entangled in the wires. Celesc teams were on site and made sure the grid was off, allowing the firefighters to be rescued.
Using a ladder, ropes and a rigid stretcher, firefighters rescued the victim, who was taken to the emergency room at Alto Vale Regional Hospital. The PRF (Federal Highway Police) has also been involved and the cart is to be removed from the site during this Tuesday (21).
