This Sunday morning (19) a 65-year-old man suffered burns to his body when a fire broke out in his house. The case was registered at around 8 am on Rui Barbosa Street in the Dona Clara area of ​​Timbo.

The military fire brigade was called to respond to a fire in a residential building with a burn victim. On the spot, the militants found an elderly man near the house, lying with 1st and 2nd degree burns all over his body, as well as a small cut on his face and unequal pupils.

The victim reported severe pain but was conscious, oriented and stable, firefighters said. The team monitored the elderly man’s body temperature and monitored his vital signs until the arrival of the SAMU base support team, who took him to the hospital.

Firefighters said the fire started in several kitchens near the bar and that the fire started in a kitchen owned by the victim.
