A dinner among friends ended with the arrest of a suspect in the attempted rape of a child in Chapadao do Lajeado, in Alto Vale do Itajai. The fact happened on the night of Sunday (5), but it was made public only on this Wednesday (8).

Two men would spend Sunday (5) having a barbecue at a house in the community of Rancinho, in the interior of the municipality. According to the prime minister (military police) report, the owner of the property will have a 5 year old daughter and at the end of the day they will go together to take the neighbor home as he will be disabled.

Arriving at the suspect’s house, he would ask his friend to go into another room to turn on the radio and set the tune. Upon returning, the man was confronted by a suspect who was physically abusing his 5-year-old daughter.

In the end, they got into a fight, exchanged aggression, and later the father called the military police to report the persecution of his daughter. The suspect was found by the police and taken to the police station, where he was caught red-handed for attempting to rape a vulnerable person.
